- A frequent contributor to OAuth, OpenID, XRDS-Simple, and other emerging community-driven standards, I am currently Yahoo!'s Director of Standards Development, helping Yahoo! participate in the open web community and embrace open standards. Previously, I was the founder of Nouncer, a small internet startup building social content distribution technologies, focused on scalability and performance. Coming from the financial services and non-profit industries, I have over 15 years experience designing, implementing, and managing complex software projects. Prior to Nouncer, I served as Director of Software Development at Knight Trading Group, Vice President at Citi, Head of IT Operations for Israel’s former Prime Minister Ehud Barak during his first campaign, and Architect at ORT Israel building a student-driven social network. In 1994 I founded 'A Different Stage', the first online publishing house for Israeli literature, and a short stories printed publication. I attended (but never finished) the Tel Aviv University Film School. Married with two children living in Los Gatos, CA.
